This week, Voyij.com was invited by Kawerak, Inc., a tribally run nonprofit organization serving the region, to participate in a professional development workshop with Alaska Native Artists, offering hands-on instruction on e-commerce and online sales. During the full day workshop, which took place on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Voyij worked with over 10 Alaskan artists from Nome and the surrounding villages to professionally photograph their art and provide education and online selling tips.

The following day, Nome's annual craft fair and blueberry festival took place, representing over 30 artists, and the city also welcomed the MS Roald Amundsen Hurtigruten expedition cruise ship.
"This is the first time these artists have had a dedicated e-commerce store for their art,” says Voyij CEO & Founder, Olivia Klupar. "We are thrilled to be advancing our mission of supporting ALL Alaskan businesses and artists, even in remote parts of the state like Nome, Gambell, Brevig, and Elim.
