Skagway, Alaska – April 22, 2024 – Today, Royal Caribbean Group published its 2023 Annual Sustainability Report and 1st annual Community Impact report, with a special mention of Voyij.com's Locals Onboard program, which launched on May 3, 2023. This special recognition highlights Voyij.com's local guest enrichment contributions through the "Locals Onboard Program Presented by Voyij.com," which brings authentic Alaskan cultural experiences to Royal Caribbean's passengers.

Enrichment presenters, carver Saat Kaa Fred Fulmer, Tlingit dance group Yaaw Tei Yi, and artist Christine Kleinhenz photography were selectedfor inclusion in this year's report. 

The report commends Voyij.com for its innovative approach to integrating Alaskan artists into the global tourism scene. It provides locals with a platform to showcase uniquely Alaskan art and way of life through enrichment programs, presentations, and workshops onboard Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises cruise ships in Alaska. These enrichment programs have been instrumental in teaching thousands of passengers about Native Alaskan culture,community, and way of life through interactive experiences, including Tlingit dance andstorytelling, watercolor workshops, and Iditarod puppies.

Launched in 2023, the Locals Onboard Presented by Voyij.com program has so far invited 16 talented artists from 6 communities to offer 62 immersive activities on Royal Caribbean Group ships throughout the 2023 season. Continuing into 2024, this program marks a significant advancement in Voyij.com's mission to connect people worldwide with Alaska's unique heritage and the vibrant creativity of its people.
