Royal Caribbean Sponsors 2024 Celebration Event and Highlights Voyij.com Partnership, Featuring Voyij Seller Wild Yukon Furs During Native Artist Vendor Market
Juneau, Alaska – July 11, 2024 - Voyij.com announces that Royal Caribbean Group is sponsoring the 2024 Celebration, joining the festivities at the Dance Staff level, which includes the opportunity to host an exhibitor table at the Native Artist Market. As part of its Celebration sponsorship, Royal Caribbean Group is gifting its table at the Alaska Native Artist Market to Wild Yukon Furs, one of the businesses represented on Voyij.com. Wild Yukon Furs is a Skagway-based, Indigenous-owned, seller of sustainably harvested premium fur jewelry, hats, and art. Vanessa Aegirsdottir and George Bahm, co-owners of Wild Yukon Furs, will be showcasing their unique products. George will also participate in Celebration’s welcoming ceremony with Inland Tlingit dance group, Dahkkha Khwáan. Celebration begins on June 5, at 5 PM.

Celebration 2024 is an important cultural event that brings together Alaska Native peoples to celebrate their heritage through dance, art, and storytelling. Hosted by the Sealaska Heritage Institute, this biennial event features a variety of activities, including traditional dance performances, arts and crafts exhibitions, and educational workshops.
The event aims to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples. Royal Caribbean Group sponsors Celebration 2024 as part of its SEA the Future initiative, which focuses on sustaining the planet, energizing communities, and accelerating innovation.
