Description
Sea grass is picked first snowfall and cured 4-6 months in a cool dry place. Later, it is soaked to moisten the sea grass before weaving.
The process is extremely time consuming and intricate and requires skill and craft.
Sea grass is harvested close to the beach (not along the beach.) Usually picked in the fall time when the color turns golden brown.
Adorned with glass beads and a beautiful abalone shell on the lid.
Approximate size 4" wide x 4.5" high.
