Description
Mammoth's roamed Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America until the last ice age, becoming extinct about 10,000 years ago. For thousands of years mammoth remains in Alaska, Canada, and Siberia were well preserved in the permafrost, only recently unearthed.
Mammoth teeth fossils range in age from 10,000 to 200,000 years, and are found primarily in the cold northern regions of Siberia, Russia, Alaska, and Canada.
Each tooth is unique with colors ranging from dark browns, tans, blues "blue ivory", and even greens, which is very rare. The color of the fossil depends on where it was found and the types of minerals that were present in the soil.
Genuine prehistoric woolly mammoth jewelry is already very old and can last a lifetime with proper care. Avoid extremely hot or cold temperatures. To clean your ivory jewelry, apply a small amount of mineral oil and buff dry immediately with a soft white cloth.
One-of-a-kind.
