The "Artic Aloha Connection" are made from Arctic fox fur to represent the playful and graceful nature of the fox. The fox is backed with metallic salmon leather, which speaks to the freshwater marked sockeye's determination. The dangling chains and strings of rhinestones are bound with salmon leather, they are detachable with an indiscreet clasp, giving versatility. Welcome to my online store, where the Spirit of Alaska meets the Aloha of Hawaii! My name Leilani Knight, my Tlingit name is Kaawasht'ude, I am Kanaka Maoli adopted into the Tlingit Nation. My work embodies shared ancestral values of the Tlingit and Hawaiian. I harvest and design with deep respect from Haa Aaní (Tlingit Lands) and 'Āina (Hawaiian for the land that feeds us.)
