Adaa was a baby sea otter who was found orphaned on a bush pilot's runway in remote Port Heiden, Alaska. His chances of survival were low, but through a chain of kindness and a remarkable wildlife rescue, he lived to be the oldest male sea otter on record.
Adaa’s Story follows his journey as he was rescued then cared for by the Alaska SeaLife Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, before relocating permanently to the Seattle Aquarium. There he grew up and became a beloved animal ambassador and the oldest known male sea otter. He also started a new chain of kindness by befriending a new rescued sea otter pup.
